Mari and Magnus, began by experimenting with synthesisers making music in between their studies. Their unique style of djing and producing has taken the under ground Norwegian dance scene by storm, Mari and Magnus produce a type of music which showcases Mari’s DJ skills and Magnus’s distinctive use of instruments and sampling equipment.

The work of the Chemical Brothers since the early 90s has been influential in the music the duo produce, as has the bass beats of the Plump DJs and Krafty Kuts. The Norwegian Pair make a type of music which has glimpses of techno and electro as well as dub bass and a hint of drum and bass.

Who would have thought that the peace and tranquillity of the Norwegian Fjords could produce such bass heavy break beat like this?
